While it may have a few glitches in terms of clicking “B” and still have “A” terms showing, for example, you can still find what you need when looking for anything related to fairy tales. As mentioned in the introduction, there is a nice section specifically on “British and Irish Fairy Tales,” but overall this is a great guide to fairy tale literature. |

Maria Tatar is one of the most respected names in the fairy tale field and she has published quite a bit related to fairy tales, making her Annotated Classic Fairy Tales an edition worth using in your research. It contains many illustrations accompanying the tales, as well as annotations exploring their historical origins, their cultural complexities, and their psychological effects. |
